Pool Hours/Rules

General Safety and Rules

Please remember that our lifeguards and pool staff are here first and foremost to ensure the safety of our members, guests and fellow employees. They are not intended to serve as babysitters or childcare providers. For this reason, children under the age of 10 must always be accompanied by an adult.

The following rules will be enforced throughout the season:

  • Swimming is not permitted when the pool is closed.
  • The pool deck and pool will not open if the air temperature is below 55 degrees.
  • All members and guests must sign in at the front gate.
  • Appropriate pool attire must be worn at all times. Thong bikinis, Brazilian-cut swimsuits and cutoff shorts are prohibited.
  • Metal hair accessories are not permitted in the pool.
  • Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes and cigars are prohibited inside the pool area and locker rooms.
  • Pets are not permitted in the pool area.
  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
  • All beverages must be in non-breakable containers.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Swimmers are responsible for all personal belongings.
  • Sunflower seeds and gum are prohibited inside the pool area.
  • Pool breaks may be used as needed for cleaning or chemical treatment.
  • All swimmers are required to rinse off in the shower prior to entering the pool.
  • Please always be respectful of fellow members and prioritize safety.
  • The pool temperature will remain set at 82 degrees and will not be adjusted.
  • Personal flotation devices may not exceed 3 feet in length or 5 feet in width.

Pool Breaks

To allow for proper pool maintenance and chemical balancing, the pool will close daily at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for approximately 15 minutes. These brief closures follow recommendations from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance and help ensure proper water quality and cleanliness throughout the season.

Members are welcome to remain in the pool area and enjoy food or beverages during these breaks.

Food Service

The cone ordering system introduced last summer will return this season. We continue to explore technology options that may eventually allow members to order directly from their chairs; however, we have not yet found a workable solution.

There are two primary reasons traditional poolside service is not feasible at this time:

  1. Wyoming law requires servers of alcoholic beverages to be at least 18 years old, which would significantly limit the staffing of the pool.
  2. Our current POS system does not support mobile ordering or handheld iPad service.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue working toward improving the pool experience.

Swim Team and Swimming Lessons

  • Swim Team will begin on Monday, June 8th.
  • The first session of Group Swim Lessons will begin on June 8th.
  • Private Swim Lessons are available through the pool staff and can be arranged through them directly.
  • Lap Swim will begin on Monday June 8th and the pool will be open from 8am-9pm for open lap swim.

Additional information and registration details will be sent once the pool officially opens. Registration will be available through the Club website.

Weather & Lightning Policy

For the safety of our members and staff, lightning delays will continue to be strictly enforced. Our policy follows the recommendations of the American Red Cross:

  • If lightning strikes within a 10-mile radius of the pool, the pool must close for 30 minutes.
  • Each additional lightning strike within that radius resets the 30-minute timer.
  • Pool management and lifeguards will utilize a weather tracking application to monitor lightning activity throughout the summer.

If weather-related issues require the pool to close after 4:00 p.m., the pool may remain closed for the remainder of the day at the Pool Manager’s discretion based on forecasted conditions and safety concerns.
